Lovely 12 year old chestnut/sorrel 16.1 hh Oldenburg/TH mare is available for lease ($500/month) or purchase ($6,000, negotiable). Picabo is a great dressage, show hack or English pleasure prospect who is just coming into her prime with the basics under her belt. Picabo has a gentle amiable personality, solid gaits, lots of impulsion, good rhythm and a breath-taking natural extended trot. Picabo has nice stable manners and is obedient under saddle. Picabo is ready to do it all. She is registered in the Main Mare Book of the Oldenburg Registry of North America and in the International Sport Horse Registry. Picabo is lifetime recorded with the USEF and the USHJA. Picabo is a lunging machine. She has had some hunter/jumper training in her early days but has been training in dressage since July, 2017. Picabo has mastered Introductory Level and is currently working on perfecting Training Level and on movements including 10 m half circles in the trot, leg-yielding and 15 m canter circles to transition into First Level. The owners are selling Picabo due to the fact that their daughter is away at college and no longer able to ride on a regular basis.
